Hi all Women’s History Month Supporters and Collaborators,

We have decided to cancel all face to face upcoming events for Women’s History Month 2020 due to the developing situation with COVID-19 and the advice of many specialists advising social distancing.  The strikethrough events have been cancelled.  We very much appreciate the hard work that went into the planning of these events and we hope to include many of them on our WHM 2021 calendar.

Thankfully, we will be able to hold the virtual event on March 25 in collaboration with Clay Reuter at the Art Museum of South Texas and Dr. Jarred Wiehe!

Here is the link to the page where people will begin their digital journey for self identity and discovery:   Explore the Art Museum of South Texas with a focus on hair, personality, and identity. To start, Dr. Jarred Wiehe (TAMU-CC English Department) will lead a virtual gallery talk of the exhibition Making Women by Jennifer Ling Datchuk. Then, set out on a digital adventure through the Museum to find unique pop-up experiences. Once inspired, create a self-identifying work of art in a fun guided activity.  March 25 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm CST!

Dr. Jennifer Sorensen, Dr. Beth Robinson, and Dr. Lisa Comparini
